Central Valley Youth Basketball

Mission

CENTRAL VALLEY YOUTH BASKETBALL (CVYB) aims to introduce children to the great game of basketball and develop their skills by teaching the fundamentals of the game while having fun.

We have an in-house program that runs from approximately November to March.  The program is open to boys and girls in grades one through six and our goals are for the kids to have fun, and get better. We aim to teach basic basketball fundamentals while attempting to create a positive experience for the kids. 

We also have travel teams for boys and girls in grades four, five, and six. These teams require a tryout and while the aim is still to teach fundamentals of basketball and having fun, the games will be more competitive.  

We play games at schools in the Central Valley School District, including Center Grange Primary Center, Todd Lane Elementary, and Central Valley High School.
